It hired you. It sacked you. It priced your next job. And nobody, in the whole history of this profession, has ever been able to say how much of it was actually yours.
And the uncomfortable part, before you have paid anything.
The wage bill explains almost everything about where a team finishes. What is left over, once the payroll has had its say, is the coach, and it is a much smaller number than any of us would like. Which means most coaches sit in an undifferentiated middle where the money already explains them, and only the genuine overperformers and the clear failures move at all.
That is not a flaw we are confessing. A tool that pretends otherwise is selling you a compliment.
If you are one of the ones the money does not explain, this is the only thing in the world that can prove it. And if you are not, you would rather hear it from this than from a press conference.
A grade that can convict you is the only kind worth having, because it is the only kind that can clear you.
Every one of those seasons would have read as a coach doing exactly what his resources predicted, to anybody using wins. That is the entire reason this exists.
Read anyone, build the roster that fits you, coach the game, develop the players. And an honest read on what you actually add, above the squad you were handed.
